The Great Room

Welcome to the Trailside Bed and Breakfast conveniently centrally located in PEI. A B&B close to - on the Confederation Bike Trail and your next stop for a fun, friendly relaxing rejuvenating rest. The Trailside B&B is a great spot to stop for a rest, talk, eat and jump on the bus to downtown attractions. Something for everyone, whatever your pleasurable day brings, relaxation awaits your nights in Prince Edward Island.
We are open year round.

The great room is our tea room and a great spot to share your days adventures and attractions of your PEI vacation with other guests over breakfast. The original wall art by artist Doreen Smith covers most of the great room and many areas throughout the B&B, wonderful job Doreen it will be admired by many.

We have a pond and waterfall in the backyard. This is a fantastic view over breakfast and morning coffee. Wake early to the smell of coffee brewing or be brave and ask for an espresso, believe me our expresso blend is smooth, and rich never bitter - it is the best espresso West of Charlottetown.

Our pergola provides just the right amount of shade from the afternoon sun. Beyond the pergola is our great room where "Grandma's Afternoon Tea Room" is located. On a beautiful summer day we set tables and serve afternoon tea under the pergola.

This is a Kiwi tree, surprise to me, the number of blooms this year. The back yard and gardens are full of surprises and depending on the time of year you can pick strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, currants, grapes, black berries, mulberries and yes, the Kiwi it is ripe now anywhere from the middle of September. We hope to try making kiwi jam this year.
