Cancellation & Booking Policy

In Season (July and August)

Cancellations, early departures and no shows will be subject to a charge of a one nights fee or 50% of your stay whichever is greater.
If I am able to re-book all the room night(s) a $50 cancellation fee will apply.

Off Season (September to June)

Cancellations, early departures and no shows made with a 24 hours notice are subject to a cancellation fee of $30.
With cancellations, early departures and no shows made less than 24 hours and if I am not able to rebook all the cancelled room(s) nights, the cancellation amount could result in the amount of a one night's fee or 50% of your stay whichever is greater.

Booking Policy

The Trailside Bed and Breakfast will no longer process a deposit amount at time of booking. Because of the rising merchant fees on credit card transactions, we are accepting cash or traveller's cheques as settlement on arrival or departure. Myself and Guy wish to thank you in advance for helping us continue to keep our rates low for the best possible value to you our guest. However, a valid credit card number is required to confirm your reservation.

Check-in time to be confirmed at time of booking.
Check-out on day of departure by 10:00 a.m.
Payment in Cash or Travellers Cheques
Provincial Sales Tax of 10% (PST) additional

Why our B&B has a Cancellation Policy

Once you have committed to a reservation the B&B's commitment to you, is to hold that room for you, thus turning subsequent inquiries away. A confirmed reservation takes a room off line at time of booking, so this room is not visible for rent from the time you booked ?? Possibly January. When you cancel at the last minute, we are not able to re-book the room and this accounts for 1/4 of our day's revenue.
